The Exhibition
ADVANCED DIPLOMA GRAPHIC DESIGN EXHIBITION 2011
This year the Advanced Diploma graphic design exhibition will be held at The Hub at Pacific Quay in Glasgow’s Digital Media Quarter.
The exhibition will feature all creative disciplines from The School of Digital Media from Cardonald College: Graphic Design (Advanced Diploma, HND, and the best of HNC and NQ), TV Production and Schools Photography.
The exhibition is open to the general public from the 9th June until the 11th June during office hours.
Our Courses
NEW BA Creative Industries Practice
The BA Creative Industries Practice is a new one year programme for students who have successfully completed a relevant HND.
The degree will be taught at Cardonald College Glasgow and validated by the University of West of Scotland. This builds upon previous studies at HND level and combines practical training and theoretical knowledge with skills in critical reflection in creative practice. This programme is highly recommended for students interested in working as a designer within the graphics industry.

HND Visual Communication Graphic Design for Print & New Media
This highly successful course meets the requirements of the design profession, providing both the creative design and technological skills required for employment in graphic design, whether for Web or print. See examples of student work on www.hndgraphics.com/blog
Subjects include:Web Design, Art & Design Project, Typography, Digital Imaging, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Graded Unit and a choice between Illustration and Computer Animation.
NQ Graphic Design
Creative ideas are at the heart of this popular course which provides an ideal foundation for those who wish to progress to the HNC/D Visual Communication Graphic Design for Print & New Media. An excellent course involving the study of typography, digital technology and the design concepts necessary to understand the process of visual communication.
Subjects include: Art and Design Project, Typography, Digital Photography, Magazine Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Label and Packaging Design, Illustration, Corporate Identity and Advertising.
